RAKESH KUMAR JAIN

body2016
JUDGMENT Mr. Rakesh Kumar Jain, J.:- The petitioner is aggrieved against the order dated 01.04.2016 by which her prayer of special chance to appear in LL.B. three year Course in VI Semester for the session 2015-16 has been declined by the Competent Authority and the refund of her fee has been ordered as per the rules. 2. Counsel for the petitioner has admitted that this is the 5th year of the petitioner. She had approached respondent No.1 to grant her special permission to appear in major exams of 6th semester which are going to be held w.e.f. 08.05.2016 but on 28.03.2016 she was not even allowed to appear in her minor II exams and has also not been allowed to attend her class. The prayer is, thus, made to quash the letter dated 01.04.2016 and to allow the petitioner to attend her classes and further to appear in the exams of 6th semester. 3. Counsel for the petitioner has, however, admitted that the maximum duration of time to complete the LL.B. Three Years Degree is of 4-½ years and the petitioner is in 5th year and has failed to show any provision for grant of mercy chance even by the Vice Chancellor. 4. In view thereof, I do not find any merit in the present petition and hence, the same is hereby dismissed.
