P.N.PRAKASH

body2016
ORDER : 1. This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register the complaint dated 21.02.2016 and investigate the matter in accordance with law. 2. On reading of the complaint dated 21.02.2016, it essentially appears to be a civil dispute between the petitioner's employer and one Gnanambal. It is alleged by the petitioner that the said Gnanambal had removed the fencing put up by the petitioner's employer on 20.02.2016 at 06.30 pm. Since the dispute appears to be civil in nature with respect to the property in question, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent police to register an FIR and in order to give a criminal colour to it, the petitioner has stated that she was threatened with wooden log and the complaint does not inspire the confidence of this Court for issuance of a direction to the respondent police to registered an FIR. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy before the appropriate forum in the manner known to law.
