ORDER : This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent herein to commence the investigation and file a final report in Crime No. 27 of 2016 on the file of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Pudukadai Police Station, Kanyakumari. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State, who would submit that the investigation in Crime No. 27 of 2016 has been completed and the same has been closed as mistake of fact on 28.01.2016 itself. RCS notice has also been served on the petitioner and a copy of the closure report has been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar. 3. Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the appropriate forum in the manner known to law.
