ORDER : S. Nagamuthu, J. The petitioner is the life convict. He has come up with this petition seeking an order to grant parole to him, so as to undergo necessary Cardiac and Neuro Medical treatment at a private hospital for a period of 30 days on the basis of his representation dated 20.12.2015. 2. We have heard Mr. G. Jeremiah, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; Mr. A.N. Thambidurai, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State; and we have also perused the records carefully. 3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner/detenu is given an appropriate treatment for his ailment. Originally, he was lodged in Central Prison, Cuddalore, and for the purpose of treatment, he has been now shifted to Central Prison-I, Puzhal, Chennai, from where, he was taken to the hospital and best treatment and medical care and attention was given to him. The submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. 4. In view of the same, we do not find any reason to grant the relief as prayed for in this petition. However, the respondents are directed to ensure better treatment, medical care and attention to the detenu for his ailment. With the above observation, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
