ORDER : 1. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to recokon the pending education loan availed for the petitioner's son in Account No. 30244348231 based on his representations dated 06.03.2015, 26.12.2014 and 21.08.2015. 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Counsel appearing for the respondent. 3. After some elaborate arguments, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that if the bank gives details of accounts he is prepared to settle the accounts. 4. The only grievance of the petitioner is that the educational loan is repayable only after the repayment holiday/moratorium period. Further, the interest charges during the moratorium period is also included. In any event, if the respondent bank furnishes a detailed statement along with interest charges from the date of operation till the date of closure the petitioner will repay the entire amount. 5. Accordingly, the respondent bank is directed to furnish a detailed statement as sought for by the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
