ORDER : The prayer in the Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 11.01.2016 submitted to the respondent for the demarcation of the property for issuing patta. 2. Mr. M.Rajarajan learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. 3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 4. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the application of the petitioner dated 11.01.2016 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving notice to the interested parties, if any. 6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
