JUDGMENT The petitioners have by these proceedings sought a consideration of the representations dated 3 March 2016 and 21 March 2016. At the hearing, the petitioners seek a direction in terms similar to those issued in an order dated 27 March 2014 passed by the Division Bench in Nidhi Pandey vs. State of U.P. and others (Writ - C No.16547 of 2014). For convenience of reference, we are extracting hereinbelow the aforesaid order of the Division Bench: "Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. The petitioner claims benefit under a scheme of 'First Come First Serve' on the ground that she is occupant of the flat in question and that she is entitled to a preference as provided for in the scheme that was floated in the year 2009. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that similar orders have been passed in several writ petitions and copies of some of the orders have already been produced by Sri Vivek Verma, learned counsel for the respondent-authority. The authority shall first examine as to whether the scheme still continues in existence and if any benefits are being given to similarly situate persons then the claim of the petitioner may also be considered keeping in view the directions issued by this Court in Writ Petition No.59319 of 2013 decided on 29.10.2013 on a similar footing. With the said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of." Since no further directions are sought, we dispose of the petition in terms of the aforesaid directions which were issued on 27 March 2014 specifically clarifying that this Court has not made any observation in regard to the merits or entitlement of the petitioners' claim. There shall be no order as to costs.
