body2016
ORDER : The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to implement the scheme settled by the order in O.A.No.22 of 1998 dated 22.02.1989 by conducting the election of the Arulmigu Kaliamman Thirukovil, Vadakkuvasal, Tamil Sangam Road, Madurai -1 in free and fare manner on permitting him to contest in the said election on considering his representation dated 14.12.2015. 2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the second respondent herein through proceedings in Na.Ka.No.10419/2016/A1, dated 18.01.2016 rejected the representation given by the petitioner. He also produced a copy of the said proceedings. 3. Therefore, it is for the petitioner to workout his remedy as against the said order passed by the second respondent in a manner known to law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of without expressing any view on the merits of the matter only on the reason that already the order is passed by the second respondent on the representation made by the petitioner and that the petitioner is to workout his remedy as against that order in a manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
