ORDER : The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to sanction educational loan to her daughter, namely, Indumathi, who is studying second year Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science) in PSR Rengasamy College of Engineering for Women, as per the bona fide certificate issued on 01.09.2014. 2. It is the case of the petitioner that she approached the respondent bank in the month of September 2014 itself and sought for disbursing the educational loan and that the respondent has not disbursed the same so far. 3. On the other hand, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent bank, based on instructions, submitted that the respondent bank has not received any application from the petitioner so far. 4. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh application seeking for educational loan to the respondent bank. If any such application is received, the same shall be considered and appropriate orders shall be passed by the respondent bank within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such application. No costs.
