JUDGMENT : KURIAN, J. 1. Leave granted. 2. Having regard to the peculiar facts and circumstances of this case and considering that the husband of Appellant No. 1 died while in service, we are of the view that interest of justice would be met if one time compensation of Rs. 2,00,000/-(Rupees Two Lakhs) is given in full and final settlement of all the claims in respect of the service rendered by the late husband of the first appellant. Ordered accordingly. 3. The amount, as above, shall be paid within a period of four weeks from today. 4. With the above observations and directions, the appeal is disposed of. 5. It is made clear that in case the amount, as above, is not paid within the stipulated time, Appellant No. 1 shall be entitled to interest at the rate of 18% from the date of death of the husband of Appellant No. 1. No costs.
