ORDER : Ms. Senthil Kumari, Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurai is very much present before this Court, At this stage, Mr. M.Murugan, Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents therein had brought to the notice of this Court that in R.C.No.500 of 2015-E2, dated 20.2.2015, Taluk Ofdfice, Madurai East, the Second Respondent/Tahsildar, Madurai East, the Second Respondent/Tahsildar, Madurai East has issued a memo, inter-alia stating that the Petitioner had encroached the extent of one cent in S.No.119/2013 and put up a thatched shed. The Petitioner has not occupied the entire extent of 0.54.0 ares in S.No.119/2013 and she had not made any cultivation in the above said field and in view of the above facts, ''the request of the Petitioner for assignment of land in S. No.119/2013, measuring 0. 54. 0 ares of Arumbanur II Village, Madurai East Taluk was rejected ''. Further, in the aforesaid memo, the Petitioner was informed that if she is aggrieved against the order, dated 20.02.2015 passed by the Second Respondent, she can prefer an Appeal before the First Respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurai, within thirty days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2. In view of the aforesaid proceedings by way of Memo, dated 20.2.2015, issued by the Second Respondent/Tahsildar, Madurai East (Third Respondent in Writ Petition), this Court holds that nothing survives for adjudication in the present Cont. P(MD) No.l66 of 2015 and accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed. Liberty is granted to the Petitioner to take recourse to a higher forum, in case, she is aggrieved against the order dated 20.2.2015 passed by the Second Respondent/Tahsildar, Madurai East(Third Respondent in the Writ Petition), in the manner known to Law and in accordance with Law. The presence of Ms. Senthilkumari, Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurai is hereby dispensed.
