JUDGMENT : Daya Chaudhary, J. Notice of motion was issued in this case on 29.03.2016. In view of the order passed by this Court on 13.05.2016, reply has been filed in the Court and the same is taken on record. 2. The stand taken by respondents-State in para Nos.3 & 4 is reproduced as under:- “That in this regard, it is respectfully submitted that respondent No.3 is the Recruiting Agency in respect of making recommendations for filling up various posts falling in Group- 'C' Services in connection with the affairs of State of Punjab. The answering respondents had sent requisition to respondent No.3 for filling up 500 posts of Senior Laboratory Attendant, out of which 53 posts were meant for candidates belonging to schedule caste (M&B). Initially, respondent No.3 had recommended 50 names of successful candidates of petitioner's category, in which the name of the petitioner was not included. Out of total selected candidates, 51 candidates belonging to various categories had not joined their duty, out of which 5 candidates belonged to the petitioner's category. Due to non joining their duty, their offer of appointment has been cancelled and an intimation to this effect was also been given to the respondent No.3 by the office of respondent No.2 vide Memo No. 2/216-14 ME(1)/4442, dated 13.05.2016. (Copy appended as annexure R-1) 4. That it is further respectfully submitted that in response to the said letter dated 13.05.2016, the respondent No.3 on 16.06.2016 (copy appended as annexure R-2) recommended names of 48 candidates of various categories for appointment to the post of Senior Laboratory Attendant in which the name of the petitioner has also been recommended. It is further respectfully submitted that the answering respondents have initiated process for seeking approval of the Government for offering appointments to the candidates recommended by the respondent No.3. As soon as the such approval is received the further process to offer appointments shall be completed expeditiously.” 3. The case of the petitioner has been recommended for appointment to the post of Senior Laboratory Attendant and is pending for approval of the Government and as soon as the approval is received further process to offer appointments shall be completed. 4. In view of the stand taken in the reply, the present petition is disposed of accordingly. 5. However, respondents are directed to complete the process within a period of two months.
