ORDER : 1. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2. The petitioner claims to be the Organizer of the Temple festival of Vellandivalasu Arulmighu Sri Mullaivana Natarajar Koil Kumbabishegam Thiruvizha at Edapadi Taluk, Salem District and he submitted an application dated 06.06.2016 to the respondent praying for permission to conduct cultural programme which includes song and dance programme to be held on 16.06.2016 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the event of permission being granted, there will not be any law and order problem and no vulgarity or obscenity will be there in that place and prays for appropriate orders. 4. Heard the submissions of Mr. R.P. Murugan Raja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. K. Thangapandi, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 5. This Court without going into the merits of the representation made by the petitioner directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the application/ representation dated 06.06.2016 in accordance with law and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner on or before 15.06.2016. 6. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
