ORDER : This petition for writ is preferred to have a direction to expunge the remark "Average" assigned to the petitioner, a Judicial Officer, in the year 2010. 2. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that as per the work disposal, the petitioner deserves to be assessed as "Good" officer and there is no just reason to treat him as "Average" officer. 3. We have perused the original record of the officer made available by learned counsel for the respondent. The relevant record discloses that the Reporting Officer assessed working of the officer concerned under different heads and on the basis of that found him an "Average" officer. 4. The work disposal of the officer may be within the criteria to assign "Good" remark as assessment, but that is not the only and sole consideration for assessment of working of an officer. It is total assessment of the working style and personality of the officer that is to be seen while assessing his functioning as an officer. In the case in hand the Reporting Officer as well as the Inspecting Judge minutely examined working of the officer and made relevant notes in this regard. 5. The Hon'ble Administrative Judge and Hon'ble the Chief Justice also considered the same and finalised the assessment. In view of it we do not find any just reason to interfere with the same. The writ petition is dismissed.
