ORDER : Heard both sides. 2. By consent of both sides, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3. No counter is filed on behalf of the Respondents. 4. According to the Petitioner, he had addressed a representation, dated 08.06.2016 to the District Revenue Officer, Collectorate Campus, Madurai District, wherein, he had prayed for measuring his property and fixing the boundaries and in this regard, had sought for issuance of a direction to the Surveyor Subburaj and the Village Administrative Officer Devika and Village Assistant Malaichamy. The same contents of the representation, dated 08.06.2016 was also addressed to the First Respondent/The District Collector, Madurai District, Madurai. Both the representations have not met with any desired results till date. Hence the Petitioner is constrained to file the instant Writ Petition before this Court. 5. In view of the fact that the Petitioner's second representation, dated 16.06.2016 addressed to the First Respondent/The District Collector, Madurai District, Madurai, is pending without disposal or progress in the subject-matter in issue, at this stage, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the First Respondent/The District Collector, Madurai District, Madurai to look into the representation of the Petitioner, dated 16.06.2016 and to pass a reasoned speaking order on merits (by out-lining the process of reasoning in a qualitative and quantitative fashion) within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the Petitioner to produce necessary records/certified copies of relevant documents before the First Respondent/The District Collector, Madurai District, Madurai, so as to enable him to dispose of his representation, dated 16.6.2016 within the time adumbrated by this Court. The Petitioner is directed to lend his assistance and co-operation to the First Respondent/The District Collector, Madurai District, Madurai in disposing of his representation within the time determined by this Court. 6. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
