ORDER : Heard both sides. 2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3. No counter is filed on behalf of the Respondents. 4. It comes to be known that as against the order dated 04.03.2011, passed by the 3rd respondent/Deputy Tahsildar, Taluk Office, Thanjavur, the petitioner had projected an appeal dated 15.12.2015 before the first respondent/District Revenue Officer, Thanjavur, who in turn transferred it to the 2nd respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, being the competent authority and as on date, the said appeal is pending. 5. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner viz., for passing of an order by this Court in directing the 2nd respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Thanjavur to dispose of the appeal dated 15.12.2015, preferred by him, this Court, at this stage, simpliciter, without going into the merits and contents of the appeal filed by the petitioner, directs the second respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 15.12.2015, by passing a reasoned, speaking order (Of-course, after providing necessary opportunity to the petitioner and others concerned by following the principles of Natural Justice in true letter and spirit) within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to lend his helping hand and assistance to the second respondent society so as to enable him to dispose of his appeal within the time prescribed by this Court. In case, the second respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Thanjavur is in need of certain copies of relevant records/documents, as the case may be, then, it is incumbent on the part of the petitioner to supply the certified copies of the relevant records/ documents to seek redressal of his grievance(s) before the second respondent in the manner known to Law and in accordance with Law. 6. With the aforesaid observation(s) and direction(s), the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
