JUDGMENT The special appeal arises from the dismissal of a writ petition filed by the Management of the institution through its Manager. 2. The appellant is the erstwhile Manager of the Saraswati Senior Basic Vidyalaya. In the writ petition, the appellant sought several unrelated reliefs including challenging an advertisement dated 21 December 2015 for appointment on the post of Principal. The other reliefs included matters relating to the membership of the society, holding of an election and for payment of salary to the teachers and other staff of the institution. The learned Single Judge declined to entertain the writ petition in respect of the first prayer and on the reasons which have weighed with the learned Single Judge, we see no reason to entertain the special appeal. The appellant is an erstwhile Manager and is not a candidate or prospective candidate. He has no locus to challenge the advertisement. The rest of the reliefs which were claimed by the appellant are matters upon which the learned Single Judge has not expressed any view. Without conferring or recognizing the locus of the appellant, we leave it open to the appellant to pursue such remedies as are available in law. 3. The appeal is accordingly dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
