ORDER : None appears for the Petitioner. Heard the Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. 2. No counter is filed on behalf of the respondent. 3. According to the Petitioner, the land in Palayam Village in S. No. 139/2 belongs to one Rathinam and Andiyappan. Likewise, the lands in Palayam Village S. No. 1398/2, S. No. 142/1 and S. No. 139/2, measuring to an extent of 84 cents belongs to himself, his mother and his brother, who are enjoying the same respectively. During the year 1994, there was exchange of deed between the Petitioner and his family members on one side and others on the other side and had executed an exchange deed whereby and where-under, the 'A' schedule property was allotted to him and infact, the 'B' schedule property was allotted to the said Rathinam and Andiyappan. 4. The stand of the Petitioner is that he and his family members are in possession and enjoyment of the lands. Likewise, the said Rathinam and Andiyappan are in possession and enjoyment of the 'B' schedule property. Even after the exchange deed of the year 1984, patta of the said land has not been changed in his name. In fact, the patta stands in the name of Rathinam and Andiyappan, till now. 5. It appears that the Petitioner made a representation, dated 27.04.2014, addressed to the Respondent/Tahsildar, Vedasandur Taluk Office, Dindigul District, praying for grant of patta in his name. However, his representation has not met with any positive response, till date. 6. Considering the fact that the Petitioner's representation, dated 27.04.2014, is pending on the file of the Respondent/Tahsildar, Vedasandur Taluk Office, Dindigul District, without any disposal or progress in the subject matter in issue. At this stage, this Court, without delving deep into the merits and contents of the representation of the Petitioner, dated 27.04.2014 simpliciter directs the Respondent/Tahsildar, Vedasandur Taluk Office, Dindigul District, to look into the representation of the Petitioner, dated 27.04.2014 and to pass a reasoned speaking order, on merits (Of-course, after affording necessary opportunity to the Petitioner and others concerned, by adhering to the principles of natural justice), within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that, if the Respondent/Tahsildar, Vedasandur Taluk Office, Dindigul District is in need of any certified copy of relevant records/documents, then, it is open to him to call for the concerned documents, by means of issuance of an official Memorandum to the Petitioner or others concerned, as the case may be. On receipt of the such Memorandum from the Respondent/Tahsildar, Vedasandur Taluk Office, Dindigul District, it is incumbent on the part of the Petitioner to comply with the requirements/request made by the Respondent, of course, in the manner know to law and in accordance with law. 7. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
