body2016
ORDER : Heard both sides. 2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3. No counter is filed on behalf of the respondents. 4. According to the petitioner, he owns a land measuring an extent of 19 cents in Old Sy.No.41 A/3 and New Sy.No.41 A/3A by way of registered sale deed dated 10.07.2002, for 10 cents and for another 9.09.0 cents on its immediate south by means of registered sale deed dated 08.12.2003, in the same survey number. 5. The stand of the petitioner is that he wants to put up construction peacefully without any objection from any quarters. According to him, he is a law abiding citizen. 6. The grievance of the petitioner is that he made several representations to the respondents to measure his land and fix the demarcating stones on four corners of property. However, there is no positive action redressing his grievance. Therefore, he made a petition before the first respondent on 05.10.2015 marking a copy to the second respondent. As there was no response for his representation, he filed another representation before the second respondent on 02.03.2016. Unfortunately, the respondents have not taken any action on the representation. Hence, he has filed the present writ petition. 7. Considering the fact that the petitioner's first representation dated 05.10.2015 and another representation dated 02.03.2016 are still pending before the concerned authorities, without any progress or disposal, at this stage, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits and demerits of the representations of the petitioner, as afore stated, simpliciter, directs the second respondent/Tahsildar, Peravoorani & Taluk, Thanjavur District, to look into the representations of the petitioner, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order and to dispose of the same on merits by passing a speaking, reasoned order (of-course, after providing necessary opportunity to the petitioner and others concerned, if any, by adhering to the principles of Natural Justice), within a period of two weeks thereafter. The petitioner is also required to lend his assistance and unstinted co-operation to the second respondent/Tahsildar, Peravoorani & Taluk, Thanjavur District, so as to enable him to dispose of his representations. 8. With the aforesaid observation(s) and direction(s), the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
