ORDER : This writ petition has been filed praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2016 and to transfer the name in favour of the petitioner in the Registration Certificate for the car being Registration No. TN 60 E 2608. 2. Mr. T.R. Janarthanam, learned Government Advocate was put on notice. 3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case of the petitioner, this Court only directs the respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 02.06.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this order should not be construed as giving any positive direction to the respondent, who shall independently decide the issue depending upon the facts and circumstances of the case. 4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
