ORDER : Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner produced a copy of the order passed by the first respondent dated Nil, April, 2016 vide proceedings bearing No. 2-28(15)/2007(AC/Review) by which the autonomous status for the petitioner institution has been granted for the period from 2015-2016 to 2020-2021. The autonomous states was also recognised for the period from 2013-2014 to 2014-2015 by ex-post-facto approval. Hence, the counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous. 2. Having regard to the said statement, this Court also feels that the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous and there is no necessity to adjudicate any issue in view of the order above referred to. Hence, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
