ORDER : Heard both sides. 2. By consent of both sides, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3. No counter is filed on behalf of the Respondents. 4. According to the Petitioner, his representation, dated 29.06.2016 addressed to the Second Respondent/The Tahsildar, Vadipatti, Madurai District is pending as on date, without any progress or disposal. In fact, the Petitioner wants a survey to be conducted in respect of the property comprising S.No.24/2A, measuring an extent of 0.55.5 hectare (77 cents) middle portion, out of 1 acre and 37 cents, situated at Manickampatti Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai North, Alanganallur Sub-Division, Madurai District. However, no effective steps have been taken by the Second Respondent till date. Hence the Petitioner had submitted a representation, dated 29.6.2016 in person and also paid the necessary charges for the conduct of survey and for placing of stones. Even then, the said representation, dated 29.6.2016 is pending without any disposal or progress. 5. Considering the fact that the Petitioner's representation, dated 29.6.2016 in the subject-matter in issue is pending before the Second Respondent/The Tahsildar, Vadipatti, Madurai District, at this stage, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits and contents of the representation of the Petitioner, simpliciter, in the interest of justice, directs the Second Respondent to look into the representation of the Petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the Second Respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the Petitioner, dated 29.6.2016, by passing a reasoned speaking order, in a free, fair and dispassionate manner, on merits (of course after after providing necessary opportunity to the Petitioner and others concerned, if any, by adhering to the principles of natural justice in true letter and spirit) within a period of three weeks thereafter. It is open to the Petitioner to produce copies of all necessary/relevant documents before the Second Respondent and the Second Respondent in turn shall take into consideration of the same at the time of disposal of the representation of the Petitioner, dated 29.6.2016. The Petitioner is directed to lend his assistance/co-operation to the Second Respondent in disposing of his representation, dated 29.6.2016, within the time determined by this Court. 6. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
