JUDGMENT : DAYA CHAUDHARY, J. 1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case of the petitioner is squarely covered by the decision rendered by this Court in CWP No. 9123 of 2009 titled as Mahesh Kumar v. State of Punjab and others decided on 14.09.2010 (Annexure P-16) and CWP No. 4474 of 2011 titled as Deepak Sharma vs. The State of Punjab and others, decided on 05.10.2011 (Annexure P-17). The petitioner has got 96 marks and he would have been selected but because of the fact that he is not having Diploma in ETT, he was not selected. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has Diploma in Early Childhood Special Education (Mental Retardation), still his case has not been considered, whereas it was specifically mentioned in the public notice (Annexure P-3). 2. The respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner in view of decision rendered by this Court in CWP No. 9123 of 2009 titled as Mahesh Kumar v. State of Punjab and others decided on 14.09.2010 (Annexure P-16) and CWP No. 4474 of 2011 titled as Deepak Sharma vs. The State of Punjab and others, decided on 05.10.2011 (Annexure P-17), as well as public notice, in case, there is any objection regarding diploma of the petitioner, the same be conveyed to the petitioner. If, the personal appearance of the petitioner is required, he may be asked to appear before the competent authority. The necessary exercise be done by passing a speaking order as per rules and law applicable, within two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 3. Disposed of accordingly.
