ORDER : Mr. S. Manimaran, was appointed as Vocational Instructor in the third respondent Government Higher Secondary School. The said appointment was made through Parent Teachers Association. Several persons appointed through vocational teachers association were regularised. Although the petitioner has put in more than 16 long years of service in the third respondent School, till date, he has not been regularised and representation sent in this regard did not evoke any response. Subsequently, even though the petitioner was called for certificate verification, till date, no order has been passed by the respondents. Stating all these facts, the petitioner has sent a representation on 15.06.2016 to the first respondent. Since the said representation has not been disposed of, the petitioner is before this Court requesting the 1st respondent to regularize the petitioner's service and to pay time scale of pay to him. 2. Mr. R. Anandharaj, learned Government Advocate was put on notice for the respondents. 3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer and the petitioner has been working for more than 16 years, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.06.2016, on merits and in accordance with law and dispose of the same, within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
