ORDER : Heard both sides. 2. By consent, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final hearing. 3. No counter is filed on behalf of the Respondents. 4. According to the Petitioner, his Appeal, dated 06.10.2015, is pending before the Respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Padmanabhapuram, Kanyakumari District, till date, without any disposal. It appears that summons was issued in connection with an enquiry, on 13.11.2015, till date, no enquiry was conducted inasmuch as one Gokuldoss had not produced the title deed. Thereafter, there was no summons was issued or enquiry conducted, as regards the pending Appeal. Hence, the Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition. 5. Considering the fact that the Petitioner's Appeal, dated 06.10.2015, is pending on the file of the Respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Padmanabhapuram, Kanyakumari District, without any disposal or any significant progress till date, in the interest of justice, fair play, this Court directs the Respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Padmanabhapuram, Kanyakumari District, to dispose of the pending Appeal on his file, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. In case, the Respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Padmanabhapuram, Kanyakumari District, is in need of any relevant documents/records from the Petitioner, then, it is incumbent on the part of the Petitioner to furnish the same before the Respondent/ Revenue Divisional Officer, Padmanabhapuram, Kanyakumari District, so as to enable him to do the needful in the subject matter in issue. 7. The Petitioner is also directed to lend his assistance and co-operation to the Respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Padmanabhapuram, Kanyakumari District, so as to enable him to dispose of his Appeal, dated 06.10.2015, within the time determined by this Court, as stated supra. 8. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
