ORDER : Heard both sides. 2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3. No counter is filed on behalf of the respondents. 4. According to the petitioner, the lands in Pudur Village in Sy.No.311/1A is having an extent of 1 acres and 2 cents, wherein, a small portion of 2 cents of land was occupied by him and he is in enjoyment of the same for more than 30 years by running a small petty shop, small tea stall and run his family from and out of the said source of income. 5. The plea of the petitioner is that he was given a licence to run the tea shop, for which he is paying tax to the Panchayat till date without fail. The lands originally belong to Village Natham. Since he is in possession and enjoyment of the same for more than 30 years, he made a representation before the respondents seeking issuance of patta in his name. However, the same has not been considered. Even so many representations were made to the respondents in person along with necessary documents to show his enjoyment, but they have not been considered by the respondents. 6. Considering the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2016 is pending before the second respondent/Tahsildar, Natham Taluk Office, Natham, Dindigul District, in the subject matter in issue, this Court, at this stage, without delving deep into the merits and contents of the representation of the petitioner dated 13.07.2016, simpliciter, directs the second respondent/Tahsildar, Natham Taluk Office, Natham, Dindigul District to look into the representation of the petitioner dated 13.07.2016, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Thereafter, the second respondent/Tahsildar, Natham Taluk Office, Natham, Dindigul District is to dispose of the same by passing a speaking, reasoned order on merits (of-course, after providing necessary opportunity to the petitioner and others concerned, if any, by adhering to the principles of Natural Justice in true letter and spirit), within a period of three weeks. The petitioner is also required to lend his assistance and co-operation to the second respondent/Tahsildar, Natham Taluk Office, Natham, Dindigul District, so as to enable him to do the needful in the subject matter in issue. 7. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
