JUDGMENT Hon’ble Sudhanshu Dhulia, J. (Oral) 1. Mr. R.P.Nautiyal, Senior Advocate assisted by Ms. Sangeeta Bhardwaj, Advocate with Mr. B.S.Koranga, Advocate for the petitioners. 2. Mr. A.S.Gill, Deputy Advocate General, with Mr. Milind Raj, Brief Holder, for the State/respondent nos. 1 & 2. 3. Mr. Kartikey Hari Gupta, Advocate for respondent No. 3. 4. The First Information Report has been lodged by the respondent no.3 which has been registered as Case Crime No. 89 of 2014 under Sections 498A/323/506 of IPC and under Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, at Police Station- Rajpur, District- Dehradun against the present petitioners. Apprehending their arrest, the petitioners have approached this Court for relief. 5. The marriage of petitioner no. 1 with respondent no. 3 was solemnized as per Hindu rites and ceremonies in the month of October 2012. The root cause of the matter here is a matrimonial discord. The respondent no.3 had lodged the First Information Report against the petitioners and the matter is presently under investigation. Meanwhile, there is a settlement/compromise arrived at between petitioner no.1 and respondent no. 3, which is annexed as annexure no. 3 to the writ petition, they filed an application under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 before the learned District and Sessions Judge, Chandigarh, in which decree has already been granted by the court vide order dated 04.01.2016. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that now they have resolved all the disputes amicably. Respondent no. 3 is represented by Mr. Kartikey Hari Gupta, Advocate, who has also filed an affidavit where it has admitted the facts stated by the petitioner. 7. In view of these developments nothing further needs to be done here. The writ petition has been infructuous and dismissed as such.
