body2016
ORDER : SLP(C)...../2016 (CC 779-780) 1. Application for permission to file the special leave petitions is allowed. 2. Having seen the original record, which was sent to us by the Registrar General of the High Court of Gauhati, we are satisfied that the interim order passed by the High Court dated 07.01.2016 calls for no interference at this stage. Accordingly, the interim order passed on 17.02.2016 is vacated. 3. We consider it just and appropriate to direct the Registry of the Gauhati High Court to post Writ Petition (Civil) No.9 of 2016, after obtaining the permission of Hon'ble the Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court, for hearing before a Division Bench of the Gauhati High Court on 22.02.2016. We would request the High Court to expeditiously dispose of the writ petition, preferably within two weeks. 4. All contentions as are available to the rival parties are kept open. 5. Any action taken in the meantime, shall abide by the final outcome of the controversy. 6. The special leave petitions stand disposed of accordingly. 7. The original records be sent back to the High Court through the same officer, after being re-sealed. SLP(C) Nos.1259-1260/2016 8. Heard in part. 9. For further consideration, list the petition again on 19.02.2016, as part-heard. 10. To be taken up at 2.00 P.M.
