JUDGMENT : Dharam Chand Chaudhary, J. 1. Heard. 2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with a case registered against him under Sections 420, 467 and 468, of the Indian Penal Code in Police Station, Sadar District Bilaspur. The status report placed on record by learned Deputy Advocate General reveals that on the completion of the investigation, the Investigating Agency has concluded that FIR No. 1 of 2015, under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 of Indian Penal Code and Section 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act on the same facts and qua the same occurrence already registered against the accused-petitioner in Police Station, State Vigilance & Anti Corruption Zone, Bilaspur is still under investigation. Therefore, the Investigating Agency has filed a cancellation report for cancellation of FIR No. 31 of 2016 aforesaid. Since FIR No. 31 of 2016 has not yet been cancelled, therefore, in the given facts and circumstances and impending cancellation proceedings, in the event of arrest of the accused-petitioner in connection with FIR No. 31 of 2016, he shall be released on bail subject to his furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/IO. 3. The petition is accordingly allowed and stands disposed of.
