JUDGMENT : Heard the petitioner in person and learned Government Pleader for Home. With the consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of. The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking extension of parole of the petitioner for a period of three months from 14.06.2016 to 14.09.2016, on the ground that his wife is unwell. A perusal of the material on record would show that on 07.06.2016, the petitioner made a representation before the Principal Secretary, Home (Prison) Department, Secretariat, Telangana State, Hyderabad, seeking extension of parole period. It is stated that till date, no orders are passed. It is to be noted that the period of extended parole gets expired on 14.06.2016. The petitioner appearing in person placed on record the medical certificate issued by the Assistant Civil Surgeon, RMO, Osmania General Hospital, Hyderabad, to show the illness of his wife, wherein, she was advised to take treatment followed by surgery for heart ailment. Having regard to the circumstances stated above, the period of parole, which get expires on 14.06.2016 is extended by two weeks from 14.06.2016. Meanwhile, the representation dated 07.06.2016, made by the petitioner to the first respondent shall be considered and orders be passed in the said representation, in accordance with law and if necessary, after hearing the petitioner. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
