JUDGMENT : M.M.S. Bedi, J. The petitioner seeks the concession of regular bail in a case registered on the allegation that the petitioner, along with others, had called a gathering with an intention to breach the integrity and sovereignty of the country in November, 2015. The petitioner was arrested in the present case on 04.11.2016. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the age of the petitioner is about 60 years and no recovery is to be effected from him. 3. On asking of the Court, ASI Rakesh Kumar has instructed learned State counsel that challan has not yet been presented in the case. The co-accused of the petitioner, similarly circumstanced, have been granted the concession of bail. 4. It has also been submitted that the petitioner is suffering from a number of ailments related to the age. 5. Without expression of any opinion on facts of the present case and following the principle of parity, the petition is allowed. The petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Amritsar.
