ORDER : M.JAICHANDREN, J. This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to direct the respondents to produce the body of the detenues, namely, Bhavani @ Buellah, wife of Harris Collin, aged about 34 years, Blessen Haggai, son of Harris Collin, aged about 9 years and Hana Bliss, daughter of Harris Collin, aged about 10 years, before this Court and to set them at liberty. 2. The petitioner has stated that his wife and two children are missing since 31.5.2015. Therefore, the petitioner had given a comlpaint to the third respondent Police, which has been registered, on 2.6.2015, in Crime No.676 of 2015, on the file of the third respondent. Since no effective steps had been taken by the third respondent Police, the petitioner has filed the present Habeas Corpus Petition. 3. At this stage of the hearing of the Habeas Corpus Petition, the third respondent has filed a status report. Paragraph 7 of the status report reads as follows: “7. I submit that during the course of investigation, the detenue's brother – Tr.Chakkravarthy submitted a letter before me on 2.7.2015 which is received from the detenue Bhavani. The detenue has stated in his letter that XXX XXX XXX 4. It has also been stated that the detenue had eloped with a third person and her children are with her. It has also been stated that necessary steps are being taken to trace the detenue and her children and to take appropriate action, in accordance with law. 5. In such circumstances, we find no reason to grant the relief, as prayed for by the petitioner. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
