ORDER : The prayer in the Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to disburse the petitioner's agricultural Insurance amount for the period of 2013-2014 bearing Survey Nos.25/1 and 27/4 with interest at the rate of 12% per annum to the petitioner. 2. Mr. A. Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. 3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 4. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the application of the petitioner dated 10.12.2015 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving notice to all parties concerned. 6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
