ORDER : M. Jaichandren, J. This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to direct the respondent to produce the detenu, namely, S. Yuvaraj, son of Sekar, aged about 16 years, before this Court and to hand over the custody of the detenu to the petitioner. 2. The petitioner is the mother of the detenu. The petitioner has stated that, on 29.9.2015, the detenu, who is studying 10th standard, at Vivekananda Matriculation School, had gone missing. On 4.10.2015, the petitioner had lodged a complaint before the respondent Police. The said complaint had been registered by the respondent police, in crime No.295 of 2015, as a boy missing case. Thereafter, as no action had been taken by the respondent Police, the petitioner has preferred the present the Habeas Corpus Petition before this Court. 3. Today, when the matter was listed for hearing, the respondent Police has produced the detenu before this Court. On enquiry, the detenu has stated that he had run away on his own and he was located at Tirunelveli, by the Childline Officers. The detenu had further stated that he is willing to go with the petitioner, who is the mother of the detenu. In such circumstances, we find it appropriate to permit the detenu to go along with his mother, the petitioner herein. Accordingly, as no further orders are necessary, the present Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
