ORDER : The prayer in the Writ Petition is for a Mandamus to direct the third respondent neither disturb nor prevent the petitioner and his family members from conducting "Seerbhadha Mandagapadi" for 3 days during the course of Chithirai festival in T.S. No. 97/4 and T.S. No. 99/2 situated at Madhichiyam, Madurai South Taluk, Maudrai in view of the order of the first respondent made B.P. Perm 439(T)/74 dated 05.04.1974. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that if the petitioner makes a proper application seeking to put up "Mandagapadi" for three days in a year which will be duly considered in accordance with law. He further submits that as on date there is no application is pending before the respondents. 3. In view of the above submissions, the writ petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to file necessary application before the respondent concerned. On receipt of such application from the petitioner, the respondent concerned shall consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter after giving notice to all the parties concerned. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
