ORDER : The prayer in the Writ Petition is for a Mandamus to direct the respondents particularly the second respondent to conduct an enquiry in pursuance of his representation dated 23.06.2015 for the cancellation of sale deed bearing No.5240 of 2012 dated 26.11.2012 on the file of the sub-Registrar, Department of Registration, Keelarajakularaman, Virudhunagar District in accordance with law. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent. 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the property in dispute is between the petitioner and the fourth respondent. In this regard, the petitioner made a representation along with necessary documents on 23.06.2015 to the respondents herein, requesting them to conduct an enquiry for the cancellation of sale deed bearing No.5240 of 2012 dated 26.11.2012. Till date, there is no response from the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. 4. The learned Government Advocate submits that the fourth respondent was called for enquiry and the matter is pending before the second respondent for consideration. 5. In view of the statement made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, this Court directs the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 23.06.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible. 6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous petition is also closed.
