JUDGMENT Hon’ble Sudhanshu Dhulia, J. (Oral) 1. In both these petitions, petitioners claim to be working as Seasonal Workers since 1999 in the Forest Department. The Forest Department issued an advertisement for 20 posts of Forest Guard. The petitioners appeared in the physical and written examinations in which they were declared successful. Consequently, the petitioners have been given joining, as a Forest Guard, on 03.05.2013, but subsequently, their services have been terminated vide orders dated 03.06.2013 on the ground that the High school certificates, submitted by the petitioners, were forged and fabricated, as the High School records of the petitioners are not available with the Institute i.e. Gurukul Viswavidyalaya Vrindivan, Mathura. 2. The case of the respondents before this Court is that the petitioners have not shown their Adhikari Pariksha, which is equivalent to High School, which is a mandatory requirement for the post of Forest Guard. 3. The petitioners on the other hand contend that they have done their examination known as Adhikari Pariksha from Gurukul Viswavidyalaya Vrindavan, which though now has not been recognized by the University Grants Commission, although the said University i.e. Gurukul Viswavidyalaya Vrindavan was recognized upto August 2007 and admittedly, the petitioners have done their Adhikari Pariksha in the year 2004 and 2006 respectively. Therefore, it was deemed to have been taken as a valid certificate and equivalent to High School Certificate. 4. The contention of the petitioners is that they have also presented those certificates before the Forest Authority which did not find any favour and in view of this Court for correct reasons, inasmuch as, the Forest authorities have sent their respective certificates to the University i.e. Gurukul Viswavidyalaya Vrindavan and they have received their reply vide letter dated 12.05.2013 (which is Annexure No. 2 to the counter affidavit filed by respondent No. 3) in which they have categorically stated that there is no records, pertaining to Roll Nos. 14457 and 6112679 (Smt. Vijaya Uniyal and Sri Govind Lal, respectively), are available with them. It has further been stated that these certificates, which have been sent to the University, are totally forged and fabricated documents. 5. Under the aforesaid circumstance of the case, this Court is not inclined to interfere in the matter. 6. Accordingly, the writ petitions stand dismissed.
