ORDER : The prayer in the Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to add the petitioner's name and his brother namely Solaiyan in the patta No.220, on the file of the second respondent and consequently direct the respondents to issue a joint patta based on the petitioner's representation dated 16.11.2015. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, the respondents are directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 16.11.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, as expeditiously as possible. 5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
