ORDER : The Writ petition is filed for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 3 and 4 to issue separate patta in the petitioner's wife namely Mrs.Jaquline as per settlement deed dated 30.09.2014 by considering and passing appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 20.07.2015 within the time frame fixed by this Court. 2. Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. 3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 4. The petitioner seeks separate patta in the name of his wife, based on a settlement. 5. As rightly pointed out by the learned Government Advocate, no application is filed so far before the Tahsildar, as per the Patta Pass Book Act. Let the petitioner first make an application before the Tahsildar, under the Patta Pass Book Act, with proper application along with the Court Fee Stamp of Rs.5/- and the same shall be considered by the authority concerned on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the petitioner is not getting the separate patta within four months, the petitioner is at liberty to file a writ petition afresh before this Court. 6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
