ORDER : This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to protect his life and liberty and for surveying the land to an extent of 1 acre 60 cents situated in Survey No.137 Vadakarai Village periyakulam Taluk Theni District. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State. 3. On reading of the petition, it is clear that there is a civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the respondents 3 & 4 with regard to the enjoyment of the property in question. Under such circumstances, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent police to give protection. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Civil Court and seek necessary protection.
