JUDGMENT Abhinava Upadhya,J. By means of this writ petition the petitioner claims that the allotment of fishery lease be settled with him on account of his belonging to a weaker section as has been mandated by the Government Order dated 17.10.1995 and Full Bench of this Court in the case of Ram Kumar Vs. State of U.P. & others reported in 2005 (99) RD 823 . 2. Learned Standing Counsel on the other hand has submitted that interpreting the Full Bench learned Single Judge of this Court in the case of Satya Vrat Singh Vs. State of U.P. and others reported in 2006 (101) RD 245 in paragraph 11 has held that advertisement for allotment of fishery lease is a must so that every person belonging to the weaker section may know about it and in case more than one person of that section appears on the date of auction it will be settled on the basis of bids extended by all the parties otherwise if only one person appears it shall be settled in his favour. As such, it appears that the advertisement is a must and as per advertisement, 22.3.2016 is the date fixed on which date if the petitioner is eligible to participate in the said auction, he may also appear and his claim shall also be considered in the light of the aforesaid judgment. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
