ORDER : Leave granted. 2. By order dated 28.10.2002, the appellant was convicted by the Additional District and Sessions Judge (Fast Track) Dungarpur in Sessions Case No. 85 of 2002 under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code and ordered to undergo life imprisonment. The order was confirmed by the High Court of Judicature Rajasthan on 8.7.2010 in D.B. Criminal Appeal No. 1053 of 2002. 3. Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the appellant has good case on merits and that he has been in jail for the past 17 years. Learned counsel prays for release of the appellant on bail pending disposal of the appeal. 4. It is not in dispute that the appellant has been in jail for the past 17 years. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of this case, it is just and proper to release him on bail. Therefore, we order him to be released on bail on execution of bond and two sureties to the satisfaction of the trial judge. Let hearing of the appeal be expedited.
