ORDER : Writ Petition (C) No.423/2017 1. Heard Mr. Dushyant Dave and Mr. Sanjay R. Hegde, learned senior counsel along with Ms. Bina Madhavan, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr. Ranjit Kumar, learned Solicitor General for the Medical Council of India, Mr. Maninder Singh, learned Additional Solicitor General for the Union of India and Ms. Meenakshi Arora, learned senior counsel for the students of the petitioner-Institution. 2. It is submitted by Mr. Dushyant Dave, learned senior counsel for the petitioners that the order passed by the Central Government on 31st May, 2017, is not a reasoned one. This Court in IQ City Foundation and Another vs. Union of India and Others [Writ Petition (Civil) No.502 of 2017] has held that the Central Government is under obligation to give reasons. 3. In view of the aforesaid, we direct the Central Government to hear the petitioners and take assistance of the newly constituted Committee as per the order dated 18th July, 2017, passed by the Constitution Bench in Amma Chandravati Educational and Charitable Trust and Others vs. Union of India and Another [Writ Petition (Civil) No.408 of 2017] and pass a reasoned order within ten days hence. 4. List the matter on 18th August, 2017. I.A. No........./2017 (D. No.65723/2017) & I.A. No......../2017 (D. No.65734/2017) in W.P.(C) No.423/2017 5. Mr. Puneet Jain, learned counsel seeks leave of this Court to withdraw the applications for impleadment and intervention. The applications are permitted to be withdrawn. Writ Petition (C) No.424 of 2017 6. List the matter on 8th August, 2017. Writ Petition (C) No.426 of 2017 7. Heard Mr. Amarendra Sharan, learned senior counsel along with Mr. Amitabh Sinha and Mr. Vivek Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner. 8. It is the admitted position at the Bar that the controversy is covered by the decision rendered today in IQ City Foundation and Another vs. Union of India and Others [Writ Petition (Civil) No.502 of 2017]. 9. In view of the aforesaid, it is directed that the directions issued in the aforesaid decision would apply on all fours to the case at hand. Accordingly, the directions be carried out. 10. Let the matter be listed on 24th August, 2017. I.A. No.65015/2017 in W.P.(C) No.426/2017 11. Learned counsel for the applicant seeks leave of this Court to withdraw the application for intervention.
