ORDER 1. The petitioners have filed the present petition being aggrieved by advertisement Annexure P-5 dated 1.11.2017 by which the respondents have invited the applications for the post of Warden. 2. The petitioners are holding the substantive post of Teacher and they were given the additional charge of Warden of concerned hostel in which, no period is mentioned. Now, the State Government has issued an order dated 11.8.2017 by which it has been decided that the additional charge is not liable to be continued beyond the period of three years and direction was given to take the charge from those wardens who have completed three years and those who have not completed three years, they may be permitted to continue till the end of academic session i.e. 1st April. In compliance of the order dated 11.8.2017, the direction has been issued to take the charge from the petitioners. The petitioners have filed the present petition mainly on the ground that they are liable to continue upto the end of academic session 2017-18. 3. By producing a copy of the order dated 10.11.2017 passed in Writ Petition No.13990/2017, it is urged that the directions have been issued to the petitioners of said case to continue till the end of academic session. However, issuing similar directions this petition may also be disposed of. 4. Learned Government Advocate submits that in terms of the aforesaid order, appropriate order will be passed. 5. After having heard learned counsel for both the parties, in my considered opinion, this petition may be disposed of with a direction that the order dated 11.8.2017 and 18.8.2017 shall not be given effect to till the end of academic session and the petitioner shall be allowed to continue as Warden till the end of academic session and after the academic session is over, the Government would be at liberty to take over the charge from the petitioner. Petition is accordingly disposed of.
