ORDER : Issue notice to the respondents. Mr.V.G.Bhanuprakash, learned additional government advocate, accepts notice for all the respondents. Therefore, formal service of notice to them is dispensed with. 2. This is a writ petition, in substance, seeking for a direction on the authorities to execute the lease. 3. The application for grant of lease was made on January 16, 2013, that is, prior to the date of amendment to the provisions of the Karnataka Minor Mineral Concession Rules 1994. Therefore, the endorsement challenged in this writ petition is erroneous, as the authorities proceeded on the basis that the application was not saved. 4. The endorsement dated June 20, 2017, being AnnexureD to the writ petition, is, therefore, set aside and we direct the authorities to consider the prayer of the writ petitioner for execution of the lease within four weeks from the date of communication of this order. 5. The writ petition stands disposed of. 6. There will be no order as to costs.
