ORDER : Heard Mr. L.K. Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned J.C. to G.P.-V appearing for the Opposite Party-State as well as Mr. Sudarshan Shrivastava, learned counsel for the Opposite Party No.7. 2. The present contempt application has been filed for non-compliance of the order dated 02.05.2016. passed in W.P. (S) No. 2097 of 2016. 3. A show-cause affidavit has been filed by the opposite party Nos. 2 and 3, wherein, it has been mentioned that amount of Rs. 07,13,493/- towards Gratuity has been paid to the petitioner on 20.12.2016, as per Annexures-B and B/l to the show-cause affidavit. 4. Show-cause affidavit, dated 16.12.2016 has also been filed on behalf of the Opposite Party-Accountant General, wherein, it has been stated that in pursuance to the direction of this Court, a reasoned/speaking order has been passed by the office of the answering Opposite Party and the same has also been communicated to the petitioner vide letter dated 13.07.2016. 5. IA. No. 802 of 2017 has been filed by the petitioner on the ground that though the order dated 02.05.2016, passed in W.P. (S) No. 2097 of 2016 has been complied with by the Opposite Parties but there has been delay of more than two years and the statutory interest, as admissible on account of delay in payment of the Gratuity amount, has not been paid to the petitioner. 6. In view of the show-cause affidavit filed by the Opposite Party-State and the show-cause affidavit of the Accountant General, as the order dated 02.05.2016, passed in W.P. (S) No. 2097 of 2016 has been complied with by the Opposite Parties, contempt proceeding is hereby dropped. 7. IA. No. 802 of 2017 stands disposed of accordingly. IA disposed of
