ORDER : R. Mahadevan, J. Seeking protection from the de-occupation notices issued in respect of the petitioners property, these writ petitions came to be filed. 2. Heard the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners; learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record. 3. Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners restricts his prayer for an interim protection, till the application preferred by the petitioners are disposed of by the appellate authority. 4. Learned Special Government Pleader would submit that no coercive steps would be taken for a period of two weeks. 5. The above statement of the learned Special Government Pleader is recorded and the petitioners are permitted to move the appellate authority along with stay petition, in the meanwhile. The appellate authority is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits after due opportunity of hearing to the petitioners. 6. With the above direction, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
