JUDGMENT : Sudip Ahluwalia, J. Seen the custody certificate of the applicant-appellant; be kept on record. He has undergone sentence in excess of 4 years and 27 days, out of which the post conviction period is 1 year and 9 months. 2. His case is, therefore, covered by the ratio of Daler Singh v. State of Punjab, 2007(1) RCR (Criminal) 316. 3. Accordingly, application is allowed and the sentence of the applicant-appellant Amir Alam son of S. Hamid is suspended till final disposal of the appeal and he is ordered to be released on bail to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate concerned.
