ORDER : 1. Issue notice. 2. Mr. S.P. Adgaonkar, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.3 and waives further notice. 3. Issue notice to the Registrar General, Bombay High Court. 4. Dasti, in addition, is permitted. 5. Heard Mr. Tushar Mehta, learned Additional Solicitor General appearing on behalf of the petitioner-State of Maharashtra and Mr. B.H. Marlapalle, learned senior counsel on behalf of Respondent No.3-Maharashtra State Judges Association. 6. Having regard to the nature of the matter, we deem it appropriate to transfer the Public Interest Litigation No.188 of 2015 pending before the High Court of Judicature at Bombay to this Court as this Court is already dealing with the general issue of the service conditions of the judicial officers of this country. Some directions in this regard were issued earlier by this Court on 9th May, 2017 in W.P.(C) No.643/2015 constituting a Committee headed by Hon'ble Mr. Justice P.Venkatarama Reddi, a former Judge of this Court. 7. The Registry is directed to call the record of Public Interest Litigation No.188 of 2015 from the High Court of Bombay and upon receipt of the record, register it as Transferred Case. 8. In so far as the original petitioner in the above mentioned case (PIL No.188/2015 pending before Bombay High Court) is concerned, Mr. Nishant Ramakantrao Katneshwarkar, learned AOR undertakes the responsibility to put the petitioner on notice. 9. List this matter alongwith Transferred Case arising out of PIL No.188/2015 immediately on re-opening in January, 2018 on a Non-Miscellaneous Day.
