ORDER : 1. Learned counsel for the State is directed to get written instruction as to who among the 20 petitioners now available (since the Amardeep Singh, petitioner in SLP (C) No. 12103/2017 is no more) have been recommended by the Committee. 2. It shall also be ascertained as to whether any of the petitioners before this Court among the 20 is more meritorious than those recommended by the Committee. 3. The petitioners, without prejudice to their contentions in the special leave petitions, are directed to file a separate affidavit as to whether they are qualified in terms of the qualification for the post of Excise and Taxation Inspector, as of now. List on 12.12.2017.
